How Medifast Works

The other part of the 5+1 plan is your lean&green meal that you eat each day at any time that works with your schedule. You can either prepare it yourself, grab it on the go or go to a restaurant. You simply follow the lean&green meal guidelines in this document by Medifast - you provide your own fresh meat, dairy & vegetables.

Remember, the meats you eat need to be grilled, baked, broiled or poached - not fried.

The basic idea behind medifast is to help you lose a large amount of weight and then keep it off. Some of the essential things to remember when using this plan are:
